JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy» is proud of its history
This is one of the most important stages in the construction of new mines. The cage shaft carries people and equipment to the mine, and the mine begins to develop its underground infrastructure.
The resources of the Darasinsky mining and processing plant will extend the service life of the PU-3 of Belaruskali for at least 50 years. The project capacity of the plant will be about 8 million tons of ore per year, with a subsequent increase to 9 million.
At 2 a.m., 30.07.2020 Mining and capital unit №3 of the MCD (ПКС-8 №46) finished the boring of the research working, which crossed the II Potash horizon of PU-5! The thickness of the silvinite layer at the autopsy site was respectively: 1 silvinite layer – 0.95 meters; 2 silvinite layer − 0.73 meters; 3 silvinite layer − 0.60 meters.
The opening of the II Potash horizon opens up additional opportunities for ore mining at the PU-5.
In May, the Darasinsky mining and processing plant construction was started. The mine field of the Darasinsky mining and processing plant will be located under the territories of Soligorsk, Lyuban and Slutsk districts. The new mine will become the raw material base for PU-3 and extend its service life by at least 50 years.
Thanks to the well-coordinated joint work of JSC «Belaruskali» and JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy», the sinking of the first and second shafts at the Petrikovsky mining and processing plant was completed in April 2019. It is planned to attain the project capacity in 2021.
On August 12, 2018 the mining and capital section №2 reached the productive layers of the 4th potash horizon by an exploratory transport raise at PU-2, which was the first time in the history of Belaruskali.
On March 31, 2017 the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cut the ribbon and pressed the symbolic start button.
In August, 2017 the shaft-sinking section №1 team of the shaft-sinking department achieved a monthly rate of 80 passage metres in shaft-sinking at the Petrikovsky mining and processing plant, breaking its own shaft-sinking record at the Beryozovsky PU.
In November, 2017 a new record was achieved by the shaft-sinking section №2 of the shaft-sinking department. A monthly rate in shaft-sinking with the construction of advanced concrete support reached 80,8 passage meters.
On May 9, 2016 the vertical shaft №1 started to be sunk at Petrikov field, and the first tons of rock were delivered on top.
On August 18,2016 at the depth of 295 meters, in the chamber at the cell shaft and the productive potash reservoir junction the piecemeal descent and assembly of the tunnel boring machine (CRS-3) were completed in a record time.
On the night of August 29-30 the cross connection between the cage and skip shafts was successfully completed. The tunnel boring machine CRS-3 №1 moved into the junction chamber of shaft №1 with a pinpoint accuracy.
On February 20, 2015 Denis Diulin was appointed Chief Executive Officer of JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy».
In October, thanks to the JSC «Belaruskali» and JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy» mine surveyors calculations the cross connection between the horizontal minefield workings and the vertical mine shaft was completed. In the night of October 22-23, 2012 after passing a winding path underground along the survey marks, the tunnel boring machine №8 moved into the shaft №5 with a pinpoint accuracy. This date became one of the most significant events in the Beryozovsky PU history.
The shaft-sinking department completed two shafts (№5 and №6) of the Beryozovsky PU in a short time frame. The skip shaft sinking has been completed in June, 2011 at a depth of 665 metres, the cage shaft sinking – on May 1, 2011 at a depth of 600,56 metres. In August, 2010 the record rate of 61,6 metres per month in skip shaft-sinking was achieved by the shaft-sinking section №1.
In 2010, a turn-key construction contract was signed by the General contractor represented by JSC «Belgorhimprom» and by the State concern «Turkmenhimiya». The construction project value was estimated at $1 billion.
On May 8, 2009 the first stage of the construction project of the Krasnoslobodsky PU was commissioned. The first stage of the project commissioning was accepted by the President of the Republic of Belarus A.Lukashenko.
The team of JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy» completed approximately 40% of the total building and assembly works of this project: shafts №1 and №2, pitbottoms, temporary buildings and structures associated with shaft-sinking, 1,5 km of conveyor gallery path construction project.
The Krasnoslobodsky Production Unit (PU-5) of Belaruskali construction project was completed in record-breaking time by world standards.
In 2008, a new speed record of 57 meters per month in shaft-sinking was achieved in the skip shaft, in the cage shaft – 47 meters per month.
With the increased volume of work and expansion of the construction projects the repair,construction and erection department was divided into a repair,construction and erection department №1 and a repair,construction and erection department №2, they carried out three activities: construction, installation and major repairs.
In December 2008, the mining and capital department was founded.
In August 2006, V.Startsev was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Nikolay Skripnik was appointed Chief Executive Officer.
On November 1, 2007 Sergey Garbatsevich was appointed Chief Executive Officer of JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy».
In February 2004, a shaft-sinking department was founded for the purpose of shaft-sinking and construction of the mining part of the Krasnoslobodsky PU.
In February 2005, miners began sinking the second shaft of the Krasnoslobodsky PU, in April – the first. The work was carried out by freezing method, guided by the fact that the first 230 meters in depth were composed of watered sands. A speed record of 33 meters per month in shaft-sinking was achieved in frozen rocks.
On February 14, 2003 to replenish the crude-ore resources of PU-2, the construction of the Krasnoslobodsky PU was officially opened.
On April 12, 2000 the agreement on transformation of the employee-owned (public) enterprise Trust «Shahtospecstroy» into JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy» was signed and the decision on issue of the shares was made.
On May 4, 2000 JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy» was founded.
On March 1, 1996 the subsidiary production unit enterprise «ROMSOL» was founded. Its main activities were production of metal constructions and non-standardized facilities of any complexity for construction works, as well as the provision of a wide range of services for metalworking and design of metal structures.
At PU-1, shaft-sinking, erection and exploratory mining works between the 2nd and the 3rd horizons were completed to increase the capacity by 500 thousand tons of rock salt per year.
At PU-2 the ore-dressing plant was reconstructed in connection with the transfer to the new GOST; reconstruction of sump cleaning and join workings of shaft №1 was completed; the mechanical workshop and garages for interfactory traffic were built.
At PU-3 the ore-dressing plant (the 9th technological line) was reconstructed.
In January, 1990 the Trust «Shahtospecstroy» was found on the basis of the Soligorsk and Kirovsk mine construction departments. The Trust «Shahtospecstroy» included the Soligorsk and Kirovsk mine construction departments, a repair-construction and erection department and the service facilities.
On December 30, 1991 the state property purchase agreement was signed. The Trust «Shahtospecstroy» was one of the first in Belarus to be privatized.
On February 19, 1992 the employee-owned (public) enterprise Trust «Shahtospecstroy» was registered.
On February 1, 1989 by Order of the Minister of the production of mineral fertilizers N.Olshansky, the Kirovsk mine construction department and the Soligorsk mine construction department merged.
At the age of 56, the first head of the Soligorsk mine construction department A.Pivovarov left for a preferential miner’s retirement pension. Valery Startsev was appointed head of the Soligorsk mine construction department.
During the first 10 years of operation from 1977 to 1987, a total of about 200km of mine workings was completed at Belaruskali mines. More than 1 million m3 of rock mass was broken down and brought to grass, large volumes of concrete and salt concrete were placed, and several thousand sets of reinforced concrete and screw roof bolting were installed.
The Soligorsk mine construction department put into operation launch complexes to increase the capacity of the annual production of mineral fertilizers at Belaruskali Production Units (PUs):
− by 208 thousand tons – at PU-1;
− by 40 thousand tons – at PU-2;
− by 100 thousand tons – at PU-3;
− by 208 thousand tons – at PU-4.
Also, the start-up facilities of shaft №4 constructions at PU-1 and PU-2 were put into operation, and the ore-dressing plants were reconstructed in connection with a transfer to the new GOST.
For the purpose of timely implementation of mining capital and mining development works to ensure the commissioning of potash production capacities at Soligorsk Production Unit №4, the Minister of chemical industry of the USSR L.Kostandov issued an order on the Soligorsk mine construction department foundation.
