In January, 1990, the Mechanization and transport department was founded. Currently, its structure includes four units:
- motor-and-tractor equipment unit;
- excavation equipment unit;
- small-scale mechanization unit;
- ¬ construction and assemblage, drilling and special works unit.
MTD motor-and-tractor park includes various specialized machines, such as cranes, car towers, dump trucks, bulldozers, excavators, graders, buses etc.
The motor-and-tractor equipment unit performs the entire range of works, related to the transportation of soil, cargo and materials, constructions to all the Units of JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy».
The excavation equipment unit performs the entire complex of open-pit mining operations for hydrotechnical and meliorative works, landscaping, construction of external water supply and drainage.
The small-scale mechanization unit is engaged in maintenance and repair of small-scale mechanization devices (aerial platforms, compressors, concrete pumps, diesel pumps) performing works at all the Units of JSC «Trest Shahtospecstroy».
The construction and assemblage, drilling and special works unit was founded in August, 2016 aimed at introducing a new type of activity at the enterprise, competitiveness and expansion of services in the repair,construction complex of the enterprise. 
It is equipped with modern drilling technologies of the world leading manufacturers: “BAUER”, “Drillmec”, “JCB”, “Liebherr”, “Comaccio”. The unit performs the following types of works: bored piles construction using CFA, DDS technologies; pile sheeting of pits; strenghthening of bases by the soil mixing method; freezing, hydrogeological, structure wells and household drinking water статическими испытаниями грунтов
supply wells drilling; construction dewatering; static testing of soils with bored piles; piles quality control using PET echo-method; well-drilling with core sampling using Wireline technology.
